Without much thought, Hel turned her gaze toward Lu Ran. Even without deep consideration, it was clear that this guy was behind it all.
Lu Ran raised an eyebrow. “Explaining would be too complicated. In any case, it’s not safe to stay outside for long. Let’s hide for now.”
Lu Ran currently held the nine elemental cores, and they were burning hot. Technically, the nine ice elemental gods weren’t really dead yet. Only the destruction of their elemental cores would mark their end.
At most, they had been beaten into exhaustion and fallen into a coma, a state of pseudo-death. If they were replenished with sufficient elemental energy, they could still revive.
