Its signature skill, the Star Splitting Sword Intent, proved to be a terrifying ability. It was familiar with the Six-Path Flower enough to know that the sword intent wasn’t suitable for it.
Luckily, the swordgrass accompanying the Six-Path Flower was one of the plants it enlightened at the dawn of the Plant Era. Visually, the swordgrass and the Void Grass looked very similar. The only difference was that the Void Grass was pitch black while the longleaf swordgrass was emerald green. Even if the swordgrass wasn’t able to reach its level after inheriting the sword intent, it should still be able to become a valuable aide to Six-Path Flower.
The Six-Path Flower nodded in agreement. Although it never spent time with the Void Grass in this lifetime, it could clearly feel how much the Void Grass treasured their friendship. It didn’t stop thinking about the war even after it died.
"That’s right. The war isn’t over, but I will definitely put an end to it by slaying the Chaos Dragon God."
"I believe in you," the Void Grass whispered.
"You’re a lucky little thing. The biggest fortuitous encounter this time is unexpectedly for you. Do not waste this opportunity," the Six-Path Flower said as it turned to the swordgrass.
It gently pushed the swordgrass toward the Void Grass.
“Whoosh.”
The swordgrass was clearly confused as it never expected such a windfall.
I thought I’m supposed to advance by cutting Sudden Death King? Why am I learning sword intent?
