The Extra's Supremacy

Chapter 50: Epilogue: Darkening Clouds

Alvin walked toward his apartment, exhaustion finally catching up to him.

On the way, his gaze drifted toward a nearby toy shop.

With nothing better to do, he stepped inside.

Colorful shelves and warm lighting filled the space. His eyes casually scanned the store—until they stopped on a small boy approaching him with a bright smile.

"Are you looking for something, sir?" the boy asked eagerly.

Alvin tilted his head, curious. "How old are you?"

"I’m eight!" the boy beamed.

Alvin glanced around. "Where’s the shopkeeper?"

"Ah, my dad just stepped out to take a call," the boy replied, still cheerful.

"I see," Alvin said with a soft nod. "Don’t mind me. I’m just taking a look around."

The boy nodded and skipped off, leaving Alvin to wander the three-story toy store.

Time slipped by. The already night sky darkened due to clouds, and the moon began covered by clouds.
