Chapter 66: Too much talk
Kivara tensed together with Riven. They had been dancing around it since she told him Sigils also have ranks. They had been trying not to put a name to something that was true.
Zandrel’s eyes shone with naked greed as he stared at Riven. "The one in a trillion Sigil. The legendary twice known. The Primal Sigil!"
Riven shuddered when he heard that. He had suspected it as well. Cultivating aura into his Sigil was as easy as breathing, especially when he was in an area where there was lots of death aura.
In fact, he could be fighting and still continue to take in aura, and the storage was so big for someone his rank that he could store the amount of Kivara’s aura in his own Sigil.
And Kivara was a Radiant rank Sigil.
Riven took a deep breath and calmed himself. ’.....right...nothing has changed...I still have to continue cultivating until I reach the peak...this will only make things easier.....’
Kivara looked at him and envy flashed in her eyes. "And I thought I was impressive with my Radiant Sigil. Indeed, the world is far bigger than I know."
"Or smaller. You did manage to meet me in the forest after all," Riven said.
Kivara’s face twitched. "Right. Should I say congratulations?"
Zandrel watched them without speaking and poured himself another drink. His hand seemed to tremble slightly before it stabilized, and he raised the cup to his mouth for a sip. "Drink! Drink to celebrate yourself!"
