Chapter 64: Satisfying
The space above Riven and Spartacus. The whole space that covered the platform crumbled like glass and with a sound of howling wind a great suction force appeared and began to suck everything in.
A stone block that had been knocked loose by the platform was the first to get sucked in and what appeared on the other side were pieces of the stone.
It was as if countless swords were inside, constantly cutting and grinding.
Riven saw that and decided that he didn’t want to go in there. With a subtle command Spartacus came around and stood behind him. In the loud howling noise Riven shouted, "Don’t get sucked in as well, you bastard!"
He followed his command with a blast of mental images through the connection.
Spartacus seemed to feel disappointed as he crouched behind Riven. His legs dug into the ground, then his body followed, his hands gripped the ground as if he was reaching into a pile of mud.
And yet the suction force increased.
Riven was slammed into Spartacus’s chest. Even breathing was difficult, but one thing Riven knew was that Jasper would run out of aura far before he did. "So if I can just hold on!" he shouted.
Jasper must have been thinking the same thing because he suddenly appeared above their heads as if teleported. They couldn’t see him but they felt his presence.
A punch slammed into Spartacus’s head so hard that his head snapped back. Riven could hear the smugness in Jasper’s voice as he began talking somewhere in that storm he created. "You actually forced me to use my strongest attack. A combination of three techniques.
