Raelith Rhodes looked at Carson in horror, his eyes filled with disbelief.
As an outstanding disciple of the Abyssal Sect, he was naturally aware of these techniques, as they were all either top tier or close to top tier, each one a foundational study of a great sect. But now, Carson had mastered them all by himself.
Carson, alone, could master the Five Elements Cultivation Method plus Sword Dao without conflict. What kind of prodigy was he?

Carson replied calmly, "Carp Dragon Realm."
Raelith’s face turned ashen, his eyes filled with despair.

Raelith looked at Carson in despair, "Can I still live? I’ll do anything."
Carson shook his head, "I explained everything to you first because I have no fear of you escaping, and second, so you would die with understanding, nothing more."
Carson raised his hand, and a piercing Sword Light shot into Raelith’s forehead, instantly piercing through.
Raelith was powerless to resist, unable to even let his Primordial Spirit escape, and was instantly killed by the terrifying Sword Qi.
Carson summoned the Gluttonous Blood Tree, which directly devoured his body.
If one is to kill, then one should do it thoroughly and completely!
With Raelith dealt with, Carson flew up and started attacking the remaining Crystal Scorpions.
Endless cold air suddenly filled the space, freezing the blood inside all the surviving Crystal Scorpions, killing them swiftly and cleanly.
Carson summoned the Gluttonous Blood Tree again, as the Crystal Scorpions’ corpses on the ground floated up, the ice layers melted before Carson, and after extracting the stingers, the corpses flew directly into the blood-filled mouth of the Gluttonous Blood Tree.
Gluttony devours all, and though the shell of the Crystal Scorpions is hard, what does that matter?
These Crystal Scorpions’ strength ranged between Great Land Fairy and Great Land Immortal levels, and in considerable numbers. The Gluttonous Blood Tree’s devouring of them would certainly lead to a significant increase in power.
Before, Carson forced Raelith to kill these Crystal Scorpions because he feared there were too many to handle alone. Now, with most taken care of by Raelith’s desperate Combat Power burst, the remaining few were easily dealt with by Carson.
After taking care of all the Crystal Scorpions, Carson quietly counted them, totaling one hundred and twenty-eight stingers, adding those seized from Raelith for a total of one hundred fifty-one stingers.
At ten points per stinger, Carson earned one thousand five hundred and ten points in one go, enough to help Nerisse Blaine gather the points needed for her mission.
Carson put away the Array Plate, which Ilvarion Arnold had given him before leaving and taught him how to use. It proved quite useful now.
Without the Sealing Formation, it wouldn’t have been easy for Carson to kill Raelith smoothly. After all, Raelith was a Great Land Immortal, possibly slightly less powerful than Carson, but not by much.
In a fight, Carson definitely couldn’t win, but if Raelith decided to flee, it would also be a challenge to stop him.
Carson first used a large number of Crystal Scorpions to wear him down, then lured him into the trap, utilized the newly fused and awakened Five Elements Great Escape Divine Ability to evade his lethal strike, finally used the Ancient Profound Water Technique to counteract suddenly, capturing him inside the tower, isolating all senses, and completing the final counter-kill.
After everything was settled, Carson summoned back the Starry Sky Magic Demon Snake and flew upward.
Maedryn Cobb was still above; he still needed to be dealt with. Although Carson believed he had assessed his character, he needed to confirm it.
Maedryn was floating in mid-air, waiting quietly.
When he saw Carson burst through the dark fog and fly up, Maedryn’s face showed obvious bewilderment.
Wasn’t this kid just chased off by a group of Crystal Scorpions?
