Kharzan was being heavily dominated by Selphira.
The superiority she had achieved through fusion was translating into a dominance that no amount of desperate attempts could overcome.
"WAKE UP, SUPPORT THE LIBERATOR!" Valdris roared, his voice cutting through the air like a command whip. "All at once! Don’t give her a chance to breathe!"
The desperation in his voice was unmistakable. Watching his leader being systematically dismantled by a single opponent was breaking the morale of the soldiers who had followed Kharzan lies.
Kharzan’s allies launched forward like a wave of golden and corrupt destruction. Aerial beasts dove while terrestrial creatures charged from multiple angles, creating coordinated chaos that should have overwhelmed even Selphira.
But Julius wouldn’t allow something like that.
Fused with his two beasts and now wielding the power of the Lesser Yellow Sand Dragon he had gained in fusion, Julius became a force of nature. His horns had grown and shone with golden light while his body manifested crystal armor.
"Don’t interfere!" Julius shouted, extending his arms in a gesture that carried the authority of geological forces.
The ground beneath enemy attackers instantly transformed. Pillars of earth and golden sand sprouted like geysers, dividing enemies and forcing them to fight in smaller groups against Julius’s tamers.
A triple tamer with a Pegasus and two Corrupt beasts found his mount trapped between two crystallized sand columns, forcing him to fight on land. Julius’s soldiers immediately took advantage.
The aerial superiority that should have been the enemy’s greatest asset had been neutralized in seconds, turning a dangerous flying opponent into a grounded target struggling against unfavorable terrain.
