Enlightenment Dao was perceiving the rise and fall of the Human Path in the human world, and karmic tribulation intertwined during these years, granting him deeper understanding as he eventually deduced the Karmic Tribulation Divine Fist.
Karmic tribulation is an eternal topic, of utmost concern to those on the Immortal Path; his transformation of it into a divine skill was exceptionally brilliant.
"The great tribulation of heaven and earth is about to descend, thus we must be fully prepared to avoid troubles from the Daoist sect! Victorious Fighting Buddha, you too shall partake in the great formation, contribute your strength, and repel those Daoist villains," Tathagata said calmly.
"The great tribulation of heaven and earth is about to arrive? I have already sensed the aura of the Five Decays of Heaven and Man, the world of the Heavenly Dao will undergo a major transformation," Wukong said.
The great tribulation of heaven and earth is initiated by the Heavenly Dao to transcend, where two realms battle, consuming each other’s world to become the sole existence, eliminating all toxicity, and afterwards, the heavens and earth become clear, with no more tribulations of slaughter! This is the instinct of the Heavenly Dao; even if the heavens had emotions, they would age. The Heavenly Dao is single-minded in transcendence, unstoppable by anyone, not even Hongjun could go against it, and it’s said that Hongjun has merged with the source of the Heavenly Dao, seeking transcendence too, and becoming a merciless existence.
"This time we need to be wary of Hongjun. Last time, he tried to kill me at Wuzhuang Temple but failed. The difference in our mana is unknown by myriads of miles; it would have been as easy as turning his hand over to kill me, yet I escaped. Clearly, he was gravely injured in the great battle of the Middle Ancient Times by my realm’s Heavenly Dao and is now recuperating, transforming, and it is unknown how much he has recovered," Tathagata pondered silently.
