But throughout the long night, a group had stayed awake, busy butchering and processing the corpse of that revived species. Early this morning, a convoy had set out, hauling a portion of the materials toward the walled city district for trade.
In the walled city district, there would be three-legged merchants buying up materials, and some walled city natives also acted as middlemen.
Lu Qi got up early and tagged along to buy pigs in the walled city.
As cramped as the walled city was, people still raised pigs on the rooftops. However, for large-scale automated farming, one would have to go to the Northern Agricultural Region. The walled city natives only loosely raised a few pigs in small pens.
