"A Mutant? What kind of Mutant?"
Lorna wasn't particularly surprised by Vintage Car's conditions.
The muddy pond was basically a Mutant amusement park. In any given year, who knew how many bastards stumbled across rare Mutants out of sheer luck or terrible misfortune. Just a few months ago, Rag and his crew had run into an Embryonic Species.
Throughout her mercenary career, Lorna had ventured into the muddy pond to hunt Mutants a few times herself.
But if this were just an ordinary Opportunistic Species or Vanguard Species, Vintage Car's crew shouldn't have found it so hard to deal with.
Even if they couldn't handle it alone, they could just team up with a few other gangs of junkmen. If that still didn't work, they could proactively tip off the Mystery Bureau. As long as it was a rare Mutant, someone would naturally come to collect it.
Vintage Car probably couldn't bear to see the Mutant confiscated, yet he wanted to hog the spoils for himself. That had to be why he was in this situation.
So it had to be something incredible. An Embryonic Species? Did Vintage Car want to build a biological vehicle with hundreds of tires?
"A Resurrected Species," Vintage Car said.
