Chapter 246: Amusement Park
Over the course of the day, Gu He drank half a cup of delicious goji berry water. His Holy Water Energy ticked up a bit more, reaching 18%.
Big Cup had used 5% to produce food and already yielded a 13% return. The return on investment was actually pretty good.
Its voice function was turned off. Aside from the body of the cup vibrating from time to time, it acted completely normal.
But early the next morning, Gu He let out a startled curse in his room at the Bantian Apartment. It had gone sour! The remaining half-cup of delicious goji berry water smelled faintly spoiled. "Big Cup, what is this?"
"Are you really human? I heard humans were smart. This isn't a video game item that stays fresh for a year. With the exception of alcohol, it's recommended that you finish goji berry water, milk tea, and coffee on the same day," it replied.
"I really hope you're still this smart when you have to face Sword Treasure," Gu He said, feeling quite depressed.
Well, that meant 2.5% of the Holy Water Energy cost had been wasted for nothing. Today was starting off on a depressing note again.
He screwed the lid onto the smart cup and left the Bantian Apartment. Just as he walked out of the alley and headed toward the Fishpond, he stopped.
A black Off-Road Vehicle was parked by the street. Lorna was leaning against it with her arms crossed, looking toward the mouth of the alley.
