Chapter 227: She's Got Fire
The dance floor at the Good Bondy Bar pounded with noise as a crew from the Super Dance Gang danced without a break.
Lorna and Pandora hadn't joined them. They sat at the bar drinking, listening to the music, and casually chatting with Rada about the Voodoo district.
The Voodoo Gang moved fast when they burst in. Within seconds, over a dozen people surrounded the L-shaped bar, with more men clogging the space all the way out to the street. Figures also appeared at the back door.
They all brandished automatic rifles, handguns, and shotguns in plain sight, wearing vicious expressions.
"Rada, Rada, where are our VIPs?"
A bald man strode in after them. He wore a heavy gold chain around his neck and colorful beads on both arms. Dressed in a black tank top and shorts, his burly body was covered in tattoos, and a string of metal rings pierced his lip.
"Crazy Ghost Ba, what is the meaning of this?" Rada's expression shifted, his gaze sweeping over the mob of Voodoo Gang thugs.
He stopped wiping his glass and pulled a small wooden stick wrapped in grass ropes from the cabinet under the bar. This was a Coco Macaque, the traditional weapon of Voodoo manipulators, and drawing it now made his stance perfectly clear.
"Good Bondy doesn't welcome anyone looking for trouble," Rada rasped.
