As Daniel’s words echoed out, silence suddenly fell around them. The eyes of those seven people locked onto him, staring with a scowl.
Even Serys was stunned for a moment. The Wanderers? She knew them—after all, who didn’t know one of the biggest intelligence and assassination organizations in the entire world?
But had such people really been hired to assassinate them? And more importantly—how did this boy know they were Wanderers?
Even she hadn’t figured it out.
"Interesting. What made you think we’re Wanderers?" One of the seven figures floating in the sky suddenly started laughing, then asked.
"I have a friend who’s like you. You guys have a very specific aura... it’s a lot like his," Daniel smiled as he answered.
He’d always been curious about what exactly connected the Wanderers, what marked someone as one of them.
And now he understood—it was a unique aura they had. An aura that no other living being in the world possessed, something exclusive to all Wanderers.
It’s probably because of some technique they train in... that attack on the carriage must’ve been part of that technique too, he thought to himself.
The Wanderer who had spoken earlier started clapping for Daniel, a flicker of admiration flashing in his eyes.
"The aura of a Wanderer isn’t something just anyone can remember," he said—though clearly, he didn’t mean it so simply.
Daniel understood that too. Wanderers always hid that they were Wanderers. They concealed their identities to avoid any trouble during their missions.
