Chapter 304: Being attacked
Daniel calmly tore off the doors of the carriage and stepped out. He looked around and frowned.
They were in a vast forest, surrounded by endless trees.
He glanced at the shattered carriage and, without wasting time, used gravitational force to pull its broken parts apart so he could get Serys out of it.
The pieces floated in the air and were tossed aside. That’s when he saw Serys’ injured body.
He walked toward her and checked her pulse—luckily, she was still breathing. Without hesitation, he injected a bit of mana into her body.
The mana acted like a small electric shock, jolting her entire body. Suddenly, her eyes snapped open.
"What? What happened?" she looked around in confusion and then saw Daniel’s handsome face just inches away, which instantly made her blush.
But when she remembered they’d been attacked, she looked around quickly. Their winged horses were torn in half and dead.
The carriage was completely wrecked, nothing left of it.
The spot they’d crashed had formed a crater in the ground.
She then looked down at herself—she was covered in blood and had several wounds.
But when her eyes landed on Daniel, she was shocked. His body was completely unharmed—only his clothes were torn, revealing his chiseled muscles.
