Transferred to Another World and Became a Teacher

Ch. 138 - Cultural Festival 18 - Duel 2

Felter transmitted power from his big toe, to his knee, his waist, and then his shoulder, in the order that I had taught him, and released his fist in the ideal way. It was what you would call a right straight in boxing. It was an attack released with timing that would normally guarantee a knockout, but Ramsay twisted his body with his amazing reflexes, and leaned back to evade it.

Furthermore, he moved while keeping a low stance, and repositioned himself to show his front to Felter. In this situation of regrouping, Ramsay laughed as he was exhaling.

"...So, you're different from last year. But, I will remember you saying 'die'."

"Next time, I will definitely kill you."

Ramsay still seemed to have some leeway, but so did Felter. He hadn’t shown everything yet. If anything, I would like them both to show their true abilities.

As I was thinking about such things, Ramsay took the initiative again. He put up his fists, stepped back, and leaned his body forward.

Then, he kicked off the ground and charged forward like a rush. Normally, you’d want to evade and counterattack, but in the case of two people using body enhancement magic, it didn’t seem so easy. If a car came barrelling towards you, you’d normally be desperately trying to dodge it, and wouldn’t be able to counterattack.

Perhaps Felter thought the same, as he tried to evade Ramsay’s charge by leaping to the side. But then, Ramsay stretched out his arm.

Grabbing Felter’s leg with one hand, as Felter failed to dodge, Ramsay laughed and twisted his body.

"I've got you, Felter!"

Ramsay shouted and lifted his hand.

As if it was a joke, Felter’s body was lifted up. As if swinging an oar or something, he swung Felter's large body and slammed it into the ground with the momentum of the charge.

A violent collision sound echoed, and Felter's body hit the ground sideways. Furthermore, Ramsay put his entire body into his effort to slam Felter’s body onto the ground.

"Guh!"

Felter, lifted with a flailing motion, kicked the arm of Ramsay, who was grabbing his leg, while he was in a helpless position.

Kicked as if stepping on the inside of his elbow, Ramsay was unable to extend his arm and was forced to release Felter’s leg.

Felter's body rolled twice, three times on the ground, and his body was separated from Ramsay's hand.

"Hahahaha! So you could only throw me once."

Ramsay laughed in a good mood, and Felter brushed off the dirt as he stood up.

"...You won't be able to be so cocky for long."

He said, and glared at Ramsay. At that attitude and line, Ramsay deepened his smile while rotating his shoulders.

Watching that, Felter moved this time. I had taught him not to take a sloppy initiative if the opponent was faster, but perhaps he had some plan in mind.

Felter closed the distance at once and put up his fists. As I observed Felter's intention with interest, Ramsay also raised his arm deliberately in a testing motion.

To the onlookers, it appeared that both had put up their fists and attacked, but Ramsay was only guiding Felter's attack in order to wait for his opportunity.

Now, what kind of attack would he show me? I could sense what Ramsay was thinking from his actions. On the other hand, Felter seemed to have been constantly defeated by Ramsay up until now, so he didn't seem to have that much leeway.

However, Felter took the bait.

"Hmph!"

At the same time as sharply exhaling, he swung his fist. But unlike his big swing from before, this time it was his left hand that he brought out first. As he extended that left hand as if thrusting it forward, even Ramsay couldn’t avoid it and it grazed his head.

"Nuuh!"

Ramsay groaned and reflexively tried to counterattack. But this time, Felter twisted his body to evade it, and grabbed it with his free right hand.

Felter grabbed the area near the wrist of Ramsay's extended arm and spun around. He threw Ramsay’s body, falling down as he did so. It was a shoulder throw. Because he threw him down as if slamming him into the ground, I could see cracks forming on the ground from the impact.

"Guh..."

The air in his lungs escaped from the impact, and Ramsay choked. In that gap, Felter twisted Ramsay’s arm he was holding up, and applied a joint lock by pushing it against his back.

With this unexpected joint technique, Ramsay was suppressed without being able to do anything.

"...Excellent work."

As I said that and applauded, the audience gradually began to applaud, albeit belatedly. It wasn't a flashy conclusion, but it was clear to everyone who was the victor.

Soon, the applause became thunderous and cheers began to be heard.

"I won."

Felter said that in a small voice, released the hold, and stood up. Ramsay didn't move for a moment, but immediately pushed against the ground with both hands and stood up.

Then, he checked his own arm as if testing it, and looked at Felter.

"...I lost, Felter. It’s the first time. Next time, I will win."

Ramsay said that with a boss-like face and laughed, and Felter snorted with a look of exasperation.

"Keep your mouth shut."

As I watched the two of them stand up while having such an exchange, even louder applause and cheers echoed. I then offered my thoughts.

"That was a good match. Ramsay-san was superior in both speed and power, but Felter-san’s training paid off in the end. Good situational awareness and tactics."

As I said that to praise him, Felter nodded back silently. Then, Ramsay looked at me with a serious face.

"Was it Aoi who taught Felter those cunning techniques? To think that that brat, who could only exchange blows, would interweave throws and joint techniques. It was unexpected."

I nodded in response to that question.

"That's right. I taught him. However, he originally had a very good sense of combat, so I only taught him how to do throws and joint techniques. It was Felter-kun who figured out how to use them, so it seems he has amazing potential.”

As I answered that, Ramsay groaned with his arms crossed.

"...Felter. You said Aoi is stronger than you, right?"

"I can't compete."

Felter replied immediately, and Ramsay bared his teeth and laughed. Showing an expression that said he had found something interesting, Ramsay took out a heavy gauntlet from his waist. Among Ramsay, who seemed to prefer light clothing overall, that gauntlet was a very out-of-place object. It would be more fitting to say he borrowed someone else's weapon, but when Ramsay held it, it strangely suited him.

Showing it to me, Ramsay wore a fearless smile.

"This is the reason why the Kean Marquis family is called the strongest. It is an ancient relic passed down through the Kean family, the strongest weapon."

He said, and lightly swung his fist. There was no change in movement, and there didn’t seem to be any special magic movements either. In that case, that must be a magic tool with a specific magic name as a trigger. The fact that a single magic tool can make you known in other countries means that there is a high possibility that it activates an advanced magic spell with wide-ranging effects.

"So you want to fight using that. I don't mind. However, if you use magic with an overly wide range, I will create a barrier around us…"

As I said that, Ramsay spread his arms and laughed.

"Don't worry. Its fine as it is. But I'll give you a warning. Fight with all you've got."

After saying that, he struck his fists together in front of his chest. A loud metallic sound echoed around us, and I frowned involuntarily.

Ramsay wore a ferocious smile and opened his mouth.

"...Golden Lion Aslan."

Was that the name of the magic? The moment Ramsay murmured those words, magical power emitted a golden glow, wrapping around Ramsay's arm. That faint light was fantastically beautiful, and combined with Ramsay's golden mane, it became a scene like a painting.

"This is the real reason why the head of the Kean family has the alias of the Golden Lion."

Ramsay, surrounded by golden light from his arm to his chest, murmured that and took a big step toward me.

Immediately afterwards, Ramsay accelerated as if his figure had vanished. However, perhaps he intended it as a warning-filled feint, as he was only coming straight towards me.

As I dodged it by moving diagonally forward, Ramsay, who had stopped at the position where I had been standing a moment ago, blinked and looked back at me.

"...Did you dodge it? Even the strongest swordsman in the Bushmills Empire can only put up a shield at that speed."

Ramsay, unable to hide his astonishment, said that, and I nodded with a wry smile.

"It was an astonishing speed. However, you're too straightforward. You can roughly tell what the other party's next move is going to be from their gaze, the direction of their toes, and how they're using the strength in their thighs and shoulders. As for Ramsay-san, because you are confident in your ability, you don't even attempt to hide your movements."

As I explained that, the composure disappeared from Ramsay's face.

"...I see. Let's test whether those words are true or not."
