Yugioh Card Summoner

CH.745 More Cards obtained in the Past

Alright. Continuing what I started last time. 3 sets still left to go.

High-Speed Riders is the first of the three. And it had 14 cards.

The first of them is PSY-Frame Driver. It is more of a necessary part of the PSY-Frame strategy, but even as a standalone monster, it is alright. Other than that 0 defense, since in my use, that actually matters. Driver is very frail and goes down easily.

PSY-Framegear Beta specials itself and a Driver when you are attacked, and destroys the attacking monster.

PSY-Framegear Gamma negates monster effects.

Speedroid Ohajikid specials a Tuner from either GY and then makes you Synchro summon a Wind Synchro using that Tuner and this monster.

And Speedroid Terrortop is great. Specials itself to an empty field and searches for a Speedroid when it does.

Now. Some Synchros.

Goyo Chaser is okay, but the other Goyos are generally better.

Goyo Predator is also just a worse Goyo Guardian.

Hi-Speedroid Chanbara can attack twice and it gains 200 attack each time it battles.

Black Rose Moonlight Dragon returns stuff to hand. And yes. I’ve made an attribute swapped version for Cailie.

PSY-Framelord Omega is pretty good. It can take itself and one other monster temporarily off the field to make space. Or just buy time. Which can actually be really helpful. The other effects are fine as well.

Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss is an ass. To fight against. He just negates your skills and is a fricking pain! But I love the fact that I can summon him.

Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Bane is okay. He is a lot of fun in the TCG, but for actual in combat use, Abyss is way better. But you can just summon Bane using Abyss as material, then resurrect Abyss with Bane.

There are also 2 spells.

Shock Surprise destroys 2 cards.

And Speed Recovery resurrects a Speedroid from the GY.

And that is the first of the three sets completed. But don’t let this fool you. This was the small one. The next two will have a bunch more cards.

Breakers of Shadow is next. And as I warned, the numbers just ramped up. Because this set had 43+2 new cards. The +2 is because there were two ‘special edition’ cards I got after the set was fully completed.

So are you ready for a lot of cards?

Al-Lumi'raj is another asshole of a monster. While it only counts my level as 99, since the cards often divide by 10 when factoring levels, I still lose almost 30,000 Strength and Magic because of this space bunny.

Arisen Gaia the Fierce Knight is just BLS support.

Black Luster Soldier - Sacred Soldier banishes stuff and can recover banished stuff.

Buster Blader, the Destruction Swordmaster is fine-ish, but honestly the OG Buster Blader is better.

Dinomist Plesios does the Dinomist thing of negating stuff that would target a Dinomist you control. And as a monster, it weakens opposing monsters.

Fiendish Rhino Warrior forces all attacks and effects to target it. And when sent to the GY, you get to Foolish Burial a Fiend.

Gadarla, the Mystery Dust Kaiju is not the best Kaiju by any means. Halving the attack and defense of everything else on the field is okay, but it costs 3 counters.

Guiding Ariadne is really good in Counter Fairies. And honestly, it is a generically good card as long as you run counter traps.

Jizukiru, the Star Destroying Kaiju could be argued to be the best Kaiju, as it can negate targeting effects while also having 3300 attack.

Kozmo Dark Eclipser is a really cool ship, but it is kind of evil looking. It can also negate traps.

Kozmo Delta Shuttle would be fine if it was level 4. But it is level 5, so you need to summon it with a card effect. Yes you could tribute summon it, but lets be honest here, you aren’t.

Kozmo Soartroopers are great. Banishing themselves to special a high level Kozmo. And they can also special a Kozmo from the GY for just 1000 LP.

Kozmo Tincan is also good. It specials Kozmos from the hand by banishing itself, and it can also search you for a Kozmo.

Majespecter Toad - Ogama lets you set a Majespecter card from the deck.

Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer gives your Performapals a 1000 attack boost while it is a scale. And as a monster, when summoned, you can pop two of your cards to search for 2 Performapals.

Performapal Trump Girl lets you fusion summon.

Red-Eyes Retro Dragon is nice. The immediate resurrection does help Red-Eyes keep up field presence. But the tribute for additional normal summon is basically useless.

Shiranui Spiritmaster is a good Shiranui.

Steel Cavalry of Dinon just halves its own stats if it battles a Pendulum monster.

Timebreaker Magician is fine. The Pendulum effect of protecting from card effect destruction is useful, but the monster effect of doubling its own attack is really situational. It can also do the same ‘banish itself and one opposing monster’ that PSY-Framelord Omega does. But calling itself a ‘Timebreaker’ is overkill. It doesn’t even know what breaking time actually looks like.

Toon Buster Blader is just that. Buster Blader with the usual Toon effects.

Tuning Magician specials itself if you have "Magician” monsters in your Pendulum zones. And then it for some reason heals your opponent while burning you.

Now to the extra deck.

Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman is crazy. When going against dragons. I’m pretty sure it could even take on Janina, but maybe that is just me. We’ve yet to test that. It can definitely beat me when I’m in my dragon form, but maybe Janina has a way around Buster’s OP effects.

Buster Dragon is a fantastic support monster for the fusion, since it turns everything into dragons. And it can resurrect Buster Blader if you don’t control one. And equip Destruction Sword monsters from the GY to it.

Chimeratech Rampage Dragon is fine, but Overdragon is better for my use.

Cyber Dragon Infinity is overpowered. Turning anything it wants into an overlay unit is busted. And negating anything is also great.

Dinoster Power, the Mighty Dracoslayer is fine. Protection for Pendulum monsters does help as does the free resurrection.

Enlightenment Paladin is fine. It can bring back a spell, and it also has Flarewingman’s burn effect.

Goyo King is nice. Good stats, gains even more when attacking and lets you either special the monster it destroyed to your side, or you can just snatch a different monster your opponent controls.

Hi-Speedroid Hagoita tributes itself to raise the level of all other monsters by 1. Which seems bad, but it does bring itself back if you control a Speedroid Tuner.

Shiranui Shogunsaga can banish a Zombie to increase its own attack by the attack of the banished Zombie.

Traptrix Rafflesia can activate Hole Traps from the deck, and it also protects Traptrix monsters.

Beast-Eyes Pendulum Dragon does burn based on the beast monster used as its material each time it destroys a monster by battle.

And Number 23: Lancelot, Dark Knight of the Underworld can attack directly, and destroys a monster each time it deals battle damage. It can also negate stuff, but it doesn’t destroy what it negates.

Now the Spells and Traps.

Destruction Swordsman Fusion is basically Super Poly, but you can only summon Buster Blader fusions.

Interrupted Kaiju Slumber is a Dark Hole that summons 2 Kaijus.

Twin Twisters is just double MST, but you need to discard a card.

Bad Luck Blast is a mediocre burn card.

Dragon's Bind limits summons, so I’ll never use it.

Follow Wing is a pretty good equip trap. Protection, automatic destruction, attack gain.

Kozmojo destroys a Kozmo you control and then lets you banish a card your opponent controls.

Majespecter Supercell protects Majespecter cards from being negated. Because the deck wasn’t big enough of a pain already.

Pendulum Reborn specials a Pendulum either from the extra deck or the GY.

Reject Reborn is situational, but it is a great card. Special summoning both a Tuner and a Synchro from the GY, while also ending the battle phase.

And Ultimate Providence negates stuff. But you have to discard a card of the same type. Monster, Spell, or Trap.

Spoiler

[collapse]

And that was Breakers of Shadow. Or Bosh. No washing machines were gotten from this set.

And now there is just 1 left. Shining Victories. And I was missing 40+2 cards from it. Again, +2 from the special edition.

Starting us off is Amorphage Envy. Its Pendulum effect is actually quite nice, as it prevents certain skill chains from being used. It can be quite difficult to go against, unless you know what you are doing. I luckily learned how to counter it during my time in the past, so if anyone has a similar unique skill, I should be able to deal with it.

Amorphage Lechery prevents Spell use.

Amorphage Sloth prevents searching.

Dicelops is stupid. Most of the time, it forces you to discard. And sure there is that 1 in 6 chance to force your opponent to discard 1, but it isn’t worth taking that chance.

Digital Bug Centibit can special a level 3 Insect from the deck, and it gives an Xyz summoned using it as a material the ability to attack all defense position monsters.

Dwarf Star Dragon Planeter sounds overpowered, but it really isn’t. IT just searches for a level 7 Light or Dark monster.

Ghost Reaper & Winter Cherries banishes stuff from your opponent’s extra deck, as long as you can reveal that same card in yours. But people don’t have extra decks, so…

Kozmo Dark Planet negates spells and has 4k attack.

Kozmo Landwalker lets you choose which Kozmo monster you want to be destroyed.

Kozmo Scaredy Lion returns banished Kozmos to the GY. And it can banish itself to let you special a high level Kozmo from the hand.

Kozmoll Dark Lady can negate monster effects, and destroy that monster.

Lector Pendulum, the Dracoverlord just counters Pendulum monsters. … also, is it just me or is there something wrong with his face? It just doesn’t fit the artwork on the card.

Performapal Odd-Eyes Light Phoenix is no good. Sure it can special itself from the Pen scale, but your opponent has to declare a direct attack and you have to break your other scale. And even as a monster, all it can do is tribute itself for a 1k attack boost, for the turn.

Performapal Sellshell Crab is just a straight upgrade over Light Phoenix. It also lets you special summon a Pen scale, but you don’t have to destroy your other one to do that. And it can also give a monster you control an attack boost, but it doesn’t have to tribute itself to do so.

Raidraptor - Booster Strix is an okay hand trap. It is basically Sakuretsu Armor you can activate from the hand, but only in Raidraptors.

Raidraptor - Pain Lanius specials itself and mimics the level of a Raidraptor on the field. But let's be honest here, there are better Raidraptors that don’t burn you when you summon them.

Speedroid Den-Den Daiko Duke can banish itself, from the GY, to special a Speedroid Tuner from the GY or hand.

Speedroid Pachingo-Kart lets you discard a Machine to destroy a monster.

Super Anti-Kaiju War Machine Mecha-Dogoran lacks protection, but it can get some crazy high attack. And it can be piloted.

Tenmataitei is pretty bad. It protects the effects of normal summoned monsters, but it itself dies to any sort of card effect. And it dares to be level 5.

Thunder King, the Lightningstrike Kaiju is the ‘strongest’ Kaiju. 3300 attack and it can attack 3 times, while preventing your opponent from using cards or effects.

Magician's Robe specials Dark Magician.

And Scapeghost summons tokens.

Spoiler

Now, the extra deck.

Bloom Prima the Melodious Choir gains 300 for each fusion material and can attack twice.

Digital Bug Rhinosebus destroys the monster with the highest defense.

Digital Bug Scaradiator can negate effects while also forcing a battle position switch. And when it destroys something, that is attached to this thing as a material.

Hi-Speedroid Puzzle doubles its attack when battling a monster special summoned from the extra deck.

Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity is a pretty nice boss monster, and also a great practice partner.

Lunalight Leo Dancer can attack twice, and during the end phase, if it attacked, it destroys all special summoned monsters your opponent controls.

And Raidraptor - Ultimate Falcon is nice. Being immune to basically everything, weakening opposing monsters and even doing burn damage.

Spoiler

[collapse]

And last, spells and traps.

Amorphage Infection is good. Attack boosting and searching.

Amorphage Lysis is equally as good. It weakens everything else, and when an Amorphage Pen scale is destroyed, you get to set one directly from the deck.

Amorphous Persona gives even more attack boosts and lets you draw cards when Amorphage monsters are tributed. And it also acts as a Ritual Spell for Amorphactor Pain, the Imagination Dracoverlord.

Drowning Mirror Force is another great card, even if situational.

Fortissimo gives an 800 attack boost, and when sent to the GY, it acts as Poly for Melodious monsters.

Fusion Tag helps in summoning some Fusions, like Dragon Master Knight.

Graceful Tear is stupid because you have to give a card to your opponent. And all you get is a 2k heal.

Kozmourning shuffles monsters destroyed by battle with Kozmo monsters into the deck instead of sending them to the GY. And it can banish itself from the GY to turn the next battle damage into healing.

Lunalight Reincarnation Dance searches for 2 Lunalight monsters.

Pre-Preparation of Rites is great in the TCG and really helps Ritual decks that can use it.

And The Kaiju Files is okay. It generates Kaiju counters, can special Kaijus from the deck and can search for Kaijus.

Spoiler

[collapse]

But yeah. That was Shining Victories. And now you know all the new cards I got. Next time, I’ll need to complete and advance my challenges. Sadly, summoning stuff in the Factory doesn’t count for them, so I’ve yet to advance my Ritual and Pendulum challenges.

I’ll also go over the new stuff I opened in the Numeron Code.
