… wow. Got 25 new cards from that. Didn’t expect that many. So either I was missing a ton from this set, which I know I wasn’t, or I’ll only need to set up like 2 or 3 capsules.

But let’s go over the new stuff. Starting with Infernoids.

Infernoid Antra is pretty nice. Returning stuff to hand or banishing stuff from the GY. Both good effects.

Infernoid Harmadik is pretty much the same, except that it destroys stuff instead of returning it to the hand.

Infernoid Patrulea can destroy Spells and Traps.

Infernoid Onuncu destroys everything but itself when summoned, and can negate spells, traps and effects.

Void Seer gives an Infernoid complete effect immunity for a turn and can be banished from the GY to prevent the destruction of an Infernoid.

Eye of the Void just specials an Infernoid from the hand. But since it does ignore summoning conditions, which Infernoids have the total level/rank limit, it might actually be useful.

And Void Launch just sends Infernoids from the deck to the GY, but that is what the decks wants to do.

Okay. Now that the one larger archetype is done, let’s just cover the rest of the main deck monsters.

Qliphort Monolith is nice whenever I tribute summon anything.

Qliphort Stealth returns a card to hand when tribute summoned.

Farfa, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss banishes a card for a turn when it is sent to the GY by a card effect.

Marmiting Captain lets you shuffle a card from hand to deck, then draw 1 and if it is a monster, special summon that monster.

Dragon Dowser specials an 1 Earth Pendulum Monster from your Deck. Which feels so random. Why would a dragon, which isn’t a Dragon, it is a Wyrm, special an Earth Pendulum from the deck?

Skilled Blue Magician is just the Skilled Magician for Gaia The Fierce Knight.

Jinzo - Jector is a good counter to traps, but I don’t really need it. I’ve like never ran into traps. And even if I did, I’m too high leveled for most traps to have any effect on me.

Satellarknight Rigel is bad. It gives a tellarknight a 500 attack boost for the turn it is summoned, but the boosted monster is destroyed during the end phase.

Thunderclap Skywolf is nice. It destroys all face up monsters when special summoned from the GY.

And Caius the Mega Monarch banishes a card when summoned, and then banishes all other copies of that card as well if it was a Dark monster. And I suppose there is also 1000 burn and if you tributed a Dark monster for the summon, you get to banish 2 cards.

Now just the extra deck stuff and a couple of spells left.

Sky Cavalry Centaurea is nice. Cannot be destroyed by battle and it returns an opposing monster to the hand after the battle.

Gem-Knight Lady Lapis Lazuli does burn damage.

El Shaddoll Wendigo is probably the worst Shaddoll fusion. It just gives battle destruction protection to a monster. Which only works against special summoned monsters.

Metaphys Horus can either be immune to stuff, negate stuff or steal an opposing monster depending on the non-Tuner Synchro material.

Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon is unaffected by stuff and can attack up to 3 times a turn.

Pot of Riches shuffles 3 Pendulums from the GY or face up in the extra deck into your deck and lets you draw 2.

Good & Evil in the Burning Abyss is a ritual spell, but at least you can later banish it for a search of any Burning Abyss card.

And Raidraptor - Nest is just ‘add Raidraptor to hand’.

Now, just a moment and I’ll check what I’m still missing.


And I was missing 4.

Apoqliphort Skybase is nice, but it’s no Towers.

Stellarknight Constellar Diamond can be summoned with ease, prevents the sending of cards from the Deck to the Graveyard. Banishes cards that return from GY to hand. And can negate the effects of Dark monsters, and destroy them.

A Wild Monster Appears! sounds cool, but it kind of sucks. You might be able to use it to get rid of a problem, but I’ll just properly summon the monster.

And Soul Transition lets you draw 2. But only if you control no special summoned monsters and you tribute a normal summoned level 4 or lower monster. There are much easier ways of getting a draw 2.

… only 18 new cards this time. So I’ll have to set up more Capsules, I suppose. But first, the new stuff I got.

This time I’ll just go main deck monsters, extra deck monsters and then spells and traps.

Infernoid Pirmais can return set cards to the deck.

Superheavy Samurai Battleball can tune with an opposing monster.

Draghig, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss lets you stack a Burning Abyss to the top of your deck.

Zefraxi, Treasure of the Yang Zing makes another monster into a Tuner for a turn.

Edge Imp Tomahawk can burn and change its name to be that of any other Edge Imp monster.

And Satellarknight Zefrathuban, on summon, targets a tellarknight or Zefra you control and an opposing monster, destroying them both.

Now the extra deck.

Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon is nice enough. It can once per turn just pop a monster. You can detach 1 to allow it to attack all special summoned monsters, and if it attacks a special summoned monster, it reduces their attack and defense to 0.

Frightfur Chimera has the Ancient Gear effect where it prevents card use when attacking. And if it destroys something by battle, you get to special it to your field.

Chaofeng, Phantom of the Yang Zing prevents the effect activation of monsters that share an attribute with monsters used as its Synchro material. It can also situationally summon a Wyrm from the deck.

El Shaddoll Anoyatyllis prevents Special Summoning monsters from the hand or GY using Spell or Trap effects.

And Ritual Beast Ulti-Gaiapelio can negate spells and traps.

Frightfur Fusion is ‘banish materials, summon fusion’ for Frightfurs.

The Melody of Awakening Dragon may as well be ‘add 2 Blue-Eyes to hand’. Sure there are other things, but Blue-Eyes monsters are probably the most common target.

The Terminus of the Burning Abyss is the Burning Abyss fusion card. Works like regular Poly, but you can later banish if from the GY for an 800 attack and defense boost.

Void Vanishment searches for Void spells and traps. And it can destroy itself to banish an Infernoid you control, and an opposing monster that battled it.

Lose 1 Turn doesn’t make anyone lose a turn. It just negates effects.

Monster Rebone specials a monster from the opponent’s GY to your field.

And Powerful Rebirth special a monster from your GY, giving it +1 level and +100 attack and defense. But it only works on level 4 or lower monsters.

And that was all I got from the 200 packs, so time for the Capsules.


And I was missing 8.

Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit is great, even for my use. Just destroy anyone who tries to use a skill.

Infernoid Devyaty destroys all Spells and Traps on summon, except Void Spells and Traps. And it can negate monster effects, destroying the monster while at it.

Frightfur Sheep comes back after being destroyed with 800 more attack.

Madolche Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode can shuffle Madolches from the GY to the deck and special Madolches from the deck.

Galaxy Cyclone destroys a set spell or trap and can later be banished to destroy a face up spell or trap.

Oracle of Zefra has a bunch of effects if a Zefra is used as a material for a Ritual, Fusion, Synchro or Xyz summon, but none of them are all that great.

Jar of Avarice can just take spells and traps off of cooldown. Well, it is what I’ll use it for.

And Zefra Divine Strike can negate a spell, trap or monster effect.
