Chapter 101 - 101: Subduing Miltank
"Mii~," Miltank let out a high-pitched sound.
Cain didn't quite understand what it meant; did shaking her head imply she didn't know who would win in a fight?
"Yadon~"
Slowpoke's eyes glowed blue as he used telepathy, directly connecting with Miltank's consciousness, and the two Pokémon began communicating immediately.
Cain watched Slowpoke and Miltank from the side without interfering, trusting that Slowpoke wouldn't do anything pointless.
Telepathy is a form of communication at the consciousness level, so the conversation between the two Pokémon ended quickly.
The effect was quite evident. Although Cain didn't know exactly what Slowpoke had said to Miltank, he could see that the alertness and rejection in Miltank's eyes had disappeared. When she looked at Cain, there was a hint of calm in her gaze.
"Master, her story is very similar to mine, except she was separated from her group when she was young. She hopes you can help her find her group, and if you do, she will be willing to follow your orders."
Slowpoke's voice resonated in Cain's mind; he was getting better at using telepathy.
In reality, the communication between Slowpoke and Miltank wasn't limited to that. Slowpoke also shared some of his experiences with Cain and how Cain had changed his life, ultimately convincing Miltank.
Their similar experiences made Miltank more willing to listen to Slowpoke's advice, so she finally decided to try approaching Cain.
