Pokémon: Chronicles of Freedom

Chapter 100 - 100: Crafting Advanced Pokéblocks

When he woke up again, it was already morning. Cain, who had developed an internal clock during his time on the Trial Island, opened his eyes just as dawn broke.

The headache caused by the awakening of his psychic powers had finally disappeared completely after a night of restful sleep.

As he got up, Cain's movements also woke Slowpoke and Murkrow.

After ordering a hearty breakfast from the Pokémon Center staff, Cain and his three Pokémon quickly finished their meal.

Cain conducted some indoor training exercises with his Pokémon. Since they were in the Pokémon Center and Cain held the identity of a League Trainer, it was better to avoid exposing Murkrow and Gastly unnecessarily.

Cain still wanted to keep his connection to Team Rocket hidden.

While the Pokémon engaged in simple indoor exercises, Cain outlined his plan for the day.

Crafting Pokéblocks was a priority, especially since Murkrow and Slowpoke were nearly out of their intermediate-level Pokéblocks. Additionally, Gastly, who had joined the team some time ago, still hadn't received appropriate Pokéblocks due to the lack of materials.

With Skorupi's arrival in just two days, Cain also needed to prepare Pokéblocks. Although they wouldn't be necessary for Skorupi initially, its rapid growth as a Bug-type Pokémon made it essential to have them ready in advance.

Moreover, Cain had purchased a Miltank in the black market the previous day, which he hadn't yet captured or released from its Poké Ball, and it had likely gone some time without food.

Therefore, subduing Miltank was another task Cain needed to complete today.
