Chapter 89: Cabin in the woods.
"Sir, there’s a situation. We have to leave." A security detail in normal clothes said, coming up beside Theo, trying to ask as inconspicuously as possible.
"What do you mean there’s a situation, Samuel?." Theo spoke in a low icy tone, holding Bethany tightly against him.
"We spotted a group of men hiding in the crowd, holding small pictures of you. I think they’re either here to kidnap or ambush you, Sir." Samuel said calmly, despite Theo’s menacing aura.
Theo took deep breaths, thinking for a few seconds.
"Have you informed my brothers?" Theo asked.
"No, Sir. We haven’t. We had to let you know first." Samuel said, a bit tentatively.
"Have someone call and inform them right now." He barked, keeping his tone really low.
"Yes, Sir." Samuel said, whispering into a minuscule radio.
"How do we leave?" He asked, subtly sniffing the air for sour energies.
"There’s a shadow door north of here. I’d lead you." Samuel said.
"Lead." Theo spat, already walking north.
