How many more people is she going to introduce me to?
Morgan glued her arm around mine, not letting go for even a brief moment the entire evening.
I hadn’t even had a chance to recover from Leslie’s strange behavior before I was pulled around and shown off.
She walked me over from person to person, introducing me to everyone in attendance....and it seemed like half the city was invited.
"Oh, Eve! I’m so glad you could make it today!", exclaimed Morgan.
Oh, here we go again...
Morgan walked me over to where the Lombardi’s were standing, donning a massive smile.
Eve turned around, her eyes immediately locking on to me, "Oh! Congratulations to you both!"
While her words were congratulatory, her tone was very somber. She didn’t even bother to look at Morgan as she spoke, her eyes only glued to me.
Morgan’s smile widened, "Oh thank you, Eve! I pray that you find the love of your life soon—like Christian found me."
