As soon as my fangs sank into the soft skin of Jason’s throat, my eyes fluttered closed and a hum began to vibrate inside my chest. My teeth pierced through veins and blood flooded my mouth just as the inside of my heart whitened out, intensifying enough to envelop my eyesight as well. But I refused to break the bite and at the back of my mind, I was hoping Kenny was yet to break out of this bite because if he does, this wouldn’t work. In all honesty, this plan sounded ridiculous to me.
I had discarded ir at first but on remembering how I had literally been able to successfully teleport all the way from that thick forest to this hospital room, then it means wvsb the impossible was starting to be possible. So who’s to say our bites won’t help Jason and move him away from the brink of death?
That’s the exact reason why I didn’t question that suggestion that had suddenly materialized in my mind and has instead focused on convincing Kenny to do this with me. Kenny had been rightfully skeptical but at the end of the day, he gave in to my request and I was relieved about that. At the end of all of this, I was gonna explain everything to him and Jason- because I do believe this bite is gonna save Jason no matter what.
From the furthest part of my mind, I heard a loud gasp. It was still white and blinding in my mind, but after a sharp sneeze accompanied that gasp, the whiteness began to dim away almost immediately and the blood suddenly dried up in my mind. That was when I realized that the bite had caught. I could feel it in my mind. I could feel Jason in my mind right now.

My eyes instantly flew open just as my fangs slipped from Jason’s throat and as I pulled away to peer into Jason’s face, my breath was bated as my gaze focused on Jason’s face. His eyelids were fluttering and my breath ceased in my throat as I stared down at him. I glanced over at Kenny for a moment the same time he glanced at me, his lips a little bloodied and I knew the bond must have caught on his side as well.
In the very next moment, the sound of a loud gasp made us tear our gazes from each other’s faces to glance down at Jason’s whose eyes were wide open while his chest moved fast in sharp inhales and exhales. My mouth fell open in utter shock and disbelief and no sound was able to come out due to how shocked I currently feel. Kenny seemed to be in the same shocked state as I was because his mouth was parted in shock without a sound coming out.
In the next moment, Jason was sneezing strongly as he struggled to sit up. Jenny rushed to help him, but to my utter shock, he held a hand up and managed to get into a sitting position on his own. I remained hovering over him, still in immense shock.
