Chapter 90: Threat

"What?" I blurted out, feeling stunned to the core as his word echoed through my insides. He blinked slowly, eyes darting between Kenny and I, like he hadn’t meant to say that, but we heard it just fine.
He let out a long sigh before speaking again. "My omega."
Was he referring to me as his omega? Since when did I become his?
I let out a small laugh, too stunned to speak for a few more seconds.
"Oh, you’re referring to someone else, right?" I asked and I watched as a grimace settled across his face before he shook his head, shoving his hands into his lockers once again
"I was actually referring to you." He clarified and my mouth fell open but nothing came out.
"The fuck you are? Why would you do that?" Kenny shot back at him almost immediately, and then he was tugging me into his side even more.
"I didn’t mean to, but when you look at it, that’s how it is." Jason bit out and Kenny glared at him. "The fuck it is, you’re spewing bullshit right now. You literally rejected him!"
Jason’s nose flared and I could see anger starting to grow in his eyes before he exhaled harshly.
"You’re right. I know I did, but..." he was still speaking when I shook my head and held a hand up.
