Jason’s pov
To say I was angry was an understatement.
I was extremely pissed right now. I’ve never felt this amount of humiliation in my entire life. An enigma alpha like me? Something like this has never happened to me before.
My cheek still stung from the slap Rory gave me a few moments ago, and as I watched him leave with the alpha who had provoked so much emotion within me, all I felt was stark red anger.
I gritted my teeth as I yanked my hands out of the people who had restrained me from completely beating the life out of that Alpha who Rory referred to as Kenny. If I hadn’t been stopped, I was certain I’d have beat him to death.
Granted, I hadn’t expected him to be a match for me. He wasn’t as big as I was. He wasn’t small, but he wasn’t big either. He had lean muscles and from one look at him, one wouldn’t have expected him to be able to pack a punch, but he packed a punch alright.
After I wasn’t allowed into Rory’s apartment a few days ago, I had begun to think of things that I could do in order to be able to have a conversation with Rory, because we needed to have a conversation so I could get him to forgive and accept me. Now, that wasn’t supposed to be hard or a big deal, but he didn’t want to have a conversation With me at all. After this fight With Kenny, I was starting to guess that he was the one behind Rory’s decision to not want to see me.
That made so much sense because if he wasn’t filling up Rory’s head with nonsense, Rory would have definitely instantly grabbed the opportunity to have a conversation with me. I mean, who wouldn’t though? I was a picture perfect alpha and everyone wanted to be with me. That made me feel beyond certain that the bastard Kenny was the one convincing Rory to not agree to have that conversation with me. I mean, of course the stupid alpha was gonna do that seeing as he was now dating Rory and wouldn’t want to lose him to me.
