Chapter 78: Good Riddance

Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Jason still didn’t want to leave, but after I threatened to really call the police on him, he finally turned around and left, while clearly angry. And that only made me more pissed.
Did he seriously expect me to willingly let him into my house? He seriously thought that I’d eagerly invite him in because I so badly want to have a conversation with him?
I was fuming when I turned away from the screen after watching him leave and Kenny settled his hands on my shoulders, massaging the knots there while also wearing a grim expression on.
"He seemed like a real piece of work." Kenny sighed out and I couldn’t agree more. I didn’t know anything personal about Jason. Back then, I had been desperate for a place to be hidden at, which was definitely why I let a guy this problematic to knock me up. I let out a long sigh, suddenly feeling drained again.
"He is. I hate him so much." I mumbled, my mind traveling back to the moment a disgusted look crossed his face on realizing that we were fated mates. I hadn’t even realized those existed till that very moment, right before he cruelly rejected me. So what the fuck does he want with me now?
"He’s gone now, thankfully. But if he returns, we’ll really call the police." Kenny finally said and I nodded weakly as he stirred me into the house. Once in the sitting room, he sank down on the couch and I snuggled beside him, curling my legs underneath me.
"You don’t have work to complete?" I asked, referring to the project he was previously working on in his office. He snorted and waved me off.
