Chapter 13: Alpha’s In Control

A gasp tore past my lips as something that felt like liquid heat moved through my veins, and I stared at him with widened eyes once he pulled away after a few seconds. That was a sensation which I had never experienced before and this wasn't my first time getting kissed. I had been kissed a lot of times by Alex, and they had never felt this way before.
The alpha's eyes were piercing as they roved over my face and when he reached for my waist again, I squealed and held a hand out, causing him to pause.
"Wait a second." I mumbled while my heartbeat accelerated, cheeks flushed. He silently regarded me from the spot a few inches away from me, head resting on a pillow.
"Firstly, what's your name? Before we... before you take my virginity." I mumbled, averting my gaze at the end of the sentence for a few seconds. He cocked an eyebrow and snorted.
"Why's that important?" He asked and I puffed out a long exhale before responding.
"I- I'd just feel more comfortable with knowing your name before we start." I explained, like knowing his name would suddenly make him not a stranger any longer. He remained silent for the next couple of seconds before sighing out a response.
"It's Jason." He revealed, albeit reluctantly and I slowly nodded my head while turning his name around in my mind.
Jason waited for few seconds before reaching for my waist and I held out a hand once again. "Wait."
