’Fuck! Playing dumb won’t help me to get out of this mess. Even worse, if I keep lying, Aiden would be more suspicious of me, I know he has been always too sharp. Damn it!’
Anxiously pondering in his mind while being charged by Aiden’s questions, Kylian was struggling hard to keep a serene smile on his face, even though his heartbeat was pacing fast with every passing second.
The scent of his sweet pheromones was filling up the hallway space, and noticing it pretty quickly, Kylian couldn’t stop his anxious thoughts from filling up his head.
’Shit...This transition in my body has gotten more serious than I thought it ever would be. I shouldn’t have forgotten to grab my medicines along with me... Yes, I shouldn’t have ignored Dr. Albert’s words. He had warned me before, my unstable pheromone outbursts could happen anywhere anytime...so I suppose it must be something like that, huh? "Kylian?"

Jolted back from his thoughts from his concerned voice, Kylian rolled his ocean eyes when he saw Aiden was keenly gawking at him, sounding quite restless from his tone, "What were you thinking so hard about? And...can’t you still sense that scent wafting around you?"
"O-Oh, now, I know what are you talking about..." Quickly coming up with a solid excuse, Kylian tossed a nervous smile when he initiated to part his ways from Aiden, towards his room. "It’s the scent of my cologne, Aiden. I think I had mistakenly used it a bit too much to leave such a strong scent around me after all this time..."
"Cologne?" Aiden skeptically frowned his brows, sounding a little dubious from his tone when he further asked, "Are you sure it’s your cologne, Kylian? The scent is quite sweet, similar to omega pheromones but with a bit of stronger essence. Isn’t it strange that I didn’t sniff any kind of scent wafting from you before?"
