Chapter 169: Vague Hope
"Sir, may I ask what should we do next?"
The man’s hefty voice over the call jolted Mr. Clark back to reality as he was momentarily lost in his thoughts, pondering anxiously about Kylian’s involvement in Zenith’s unusual actions.
His frown deepened in between his brow ridge when he exhaled a big sigh, before addressing in a low, curt voice, "Find out more information about that omega patient. Not only her but dig out all the necessary information about all those people who had hung out with Young Master these days. Especially that blue-eyed, pretty boy from the academy...do you understand?"
"Yes Sir!"
"Oh, and..." Cautiously rolling his glance behind, Mr. Clark let out a dry cough before he mumbled in a stiff tone, "Make sure all this information must be kept away from Master for the time being. Also, give me the necessary details about Dr. Jin, and the details of those shares which have been transferred under his name, within an hour."
"Roger that, Sir."
When the man disconnected the call first from the other side, Mr. Clark exhaled another big sigh while wondering on his own, with his thick fingers adjusting his glass frame, ’Young Master...just what the hell did you do? What emergency did you face to the point of transferring a percent of your prime shares under a doctor’s name? Don’t you have any idea of the devastation that can occur if it reaches your father’s ears?’
"If you sigh so heavily like that, I assume some trouble must have risen, right?" Suddenly, Mr. Clark winced from Dolemort’s cold voice directed towards him from the dining table, as he swiftly turned around, trying to plaster a fake smile.
After serving him for decades, Mr. Clark was always aware of Dolemort’s keen observation skills, and for that reason, he had moved to the corner of the room to attend the phone call. But now hearing his rigid voice, he gulped, trying to act cordial, "Oh, no...that wasn’t much big of an issue, Master."
