Chapter 158: The Nervousness
As much as Zenith was startled by the unforeseen turn of events, for the first time in his life, he felt a harrowing surge of anxiety gushing inside him as he could anticipate Kylian’s furious gaze was fixated on his direction.
He couldn’t muster his courage to look at Kylian’s glowering ocean eyes, but before he could utter a word, he sensed Kylian’s marching footsteps towards that boy and a cold growl from him, "What did you say? You’re the only one who has slept with him thrice?"
"Huh?" Until now that blonde boy’s focus was only sealed on Zenith, but now hearing a vexed growl made him avert his gaze towards Kylian. Watching his strong and massive build, almost similar to Zenith, that boy felt a little uneasy to find Kylian was glowering at him like a fierce predator.
"Who are you?" After a brief pause, the male beta uttered stiffly, furrowing his brows at him, "And what are you doing here with Zenith? I haven’t seen you before with him, are you one of his boys from the gang?"
"I could ask you the same question, too." Kylian crossed his broad veiny arms, his face turning darker from angst, as he marched close to that boy, "What were you doing here in the first place? Were you waiting for him here...or are you his stalker?"
"What the...you’re so rude." That boy gritted his teeth, shuffling his gaze back on Zenith, and even moved closer to him, "Who the hell is this punk, Zenith? Is he new in your gang? How dare he insult me—"
"Shut up." But before he could finish his whining, Zenith clenched his jaws at the boy, with his big onyx eyes bearing a fierce glare towards him, "I had already ordered Mr. Clark before to let your father invest in the Lumina Group, just like you had asked me for in return of our deal. I had kept my end of the bargain, so you should do the same and get lost."
"Haha..." But surprisingly after hearing his scornful grumble, that boy let out a sly chuckle and moved closer to Zenith while softening his gaze, "That means you didn’t completely forget about me, isn’t it? You must’ve been pretending not to remember me until now, right?"
"I don’t give a fuck about your existence or you anymore...so could you just get lost?" As if Zenith could sense Kylian getting riled with anger, he acted more harshly towards him, to make sure he would disappear from there after being insulted.
