Chapter 133: I Am In Love With You ^^
Followed by a brief anticipated silence in between those two young wounded hearts wrapped in each other’s embrace, Zenith could feel his rising anxiety while talking about his old scars miraculously calming down from the effect of Kylian’s soothing sweet pheromones that had filled the entire room.
Nuzzling his face on his back while hearing the sound of Kylian’s thumping heartbeat too, a soft small smile curved his lips as Zenith continued.
"My mother was a very beautiful singer, Kyle. Her songs always used to make me feel comforted as if I would be teleported into a fairytale world just hearing her voice. She was a very lovable person...who deserved the whole world, only if she hadn’t met my bastard father..."
His soft tone shuffled into a bitter one when Zenith muttered in a hefty pitch, "My mother always deeply loved him, despite knowing that Alphas can never be each other’s fated pair. In my eyes, she was the strongest woman I ever saw...but now that I look behind at the past, it feels wrong for me to assume she was the strongest one.
"Mom couldn’t stand this painful betrayal and committed suicide, leaving me, her small child all alone in this cruel, ruthless world where I was forced to witness my Father publicly accepting that damn omega as his partner after he completely shunned my mother’s existence. I utterly despise this man from the core of my heart...but somehow I was never able to come out of the void of darkness I was thrown into after Mom’s death. Painful traumas haunted me every night, turning me into an addict who had to rely on drugs and sleep to get just a night of sleep.
"I just can’t accept the fact that I was too powerless to do anything for my Mom at that time, and that’s why, once I hit puberty, I completely spiraled out of my dad’s control, forcing him to watch me become a devilish brat whom he would never be able to have under his grasp!
