It was past midnight. After having some light snacks for dinner since Kylian had to worry about every dime he would be spending to make up for his excessive expense during lunchtime, he returned to his room.
With his mood still low and grumpy, he stopped checking his phone for Zenith’s reply and went straight to bed, without feeling any urge to study anymore.
Even while lying down on the bed, his gloomy ocean eyes stared at the crescent moon shimmering brightly in the night sky, surrounded by little twinkling stars all around it through the small window near his bed.
With a soothing night breeze and the scent of cherry blossoms wafting inside the room, the ambiance was peaceful but his heart and mind were indulged in grave conflict.
Exhaling a heavy breath, he continued mumbling on his own, ’Next time...I am going to make him pay. I will ignore that damn jerk exactly in this way like he did to me! I am not even going to share my seat with him in the class, instead, I will go and sit with Stephan. I don’t care, no matter how much he gets mad at me, I will not bother to give a crap about it...
