Chapter 96: Stake my claim
The entire classroom was flabbergasted at Zenith’s ardent declaration which ultimately created a state of disarray. Along with the sound of vibrant whispers echoing in the surroundings, the majority of the students who were Alphas couldn’t stop exchanging skeptical glances with each other while all of them were pointing at Zenith.
The bully Alphas from Zenith’s gang couldn’t hide their extremely disappointed faces either, and a few of them were glowering angrily at Kylian for having the unexpected upper hand in the situation.
Just like everyone’s shocked face, Stephan also stood still with a jaw-dropped look on his face as he couldn’t avert his rolled gaze from Zenith.
Even though Zenith had boldly taken his side this time, Stephan couldn’t stop contemplating Zenith’s skeptical actions, starting from when he had rushed into his room to lie to him about the nurse’s call, which was followed by Kylian’s disappearance from his bathroom...to suddenly letting him sit on his desk which was no less than a miraculous phenomenon, completely unbelievable.
But how could it be possible for someone to have such a great change of heart in such a short period without any crucial reason?
On the other hand, Zenith was pleased to cater Kylian’s attention solely to him, but all the other gazes from the fellow students hovering around him had started to piss him off quickly.
Thus, bearing an icy glare in his dark eyes, Zenith met Stephan’s stunned face when he commanded in an ardent tone, "Why are you still standing here like a dumb frozen statue? Go and take the seat before I really change my mind, Stephan Todor."
"H-Huh? Y-Yes, M-Master. Thank you very much for your g-generosity..." Nervous and a bit winced from his loud grunt, Stephan bowed his head to offer his gratitude towards Zenith, while countless skeptical thoughts were roaming inside his head.
Also with this grunt, Kylian retrieved back his senses as he was momentarily lost in his own thoughts being unable to avert his gaze away from Zenith’s alluring face next to him. He tossed his gaze towards Stephan, watching him head towards Zenith’s seat in slow, careful steps.
But when Stephan was about to proceed that way, his bully gang boys lined up in a queue and stood like a roadblock in his path.
Sensing his boy’s hostile glare towards Stephan, Zenith made sure to remind them strictly once again, using his domineering tone, "I don’t like to repeat myself, but I will do that for one last time. No one will lift a finger at anybody from now onwards without my permission, and that applies to this boy too. Nobody must bother him if they don’t wish to face my wrath. Am I clear to you all?"
Since Zenith was the strongest and the only supreme Alpha existing in the Elite Academy, the gang of Alpha boys who started obeying him as their Master had high esteem for Zenith.
