Chapter 80: Very beautiful
However, even though Kylian stayed still before fuming Zenith, his body was badly shaking in fear as deep inside, he had felt petrified. But while he was trying to calm his palpitations, Kylian didn’t realize when tears had started to stream down his porcelain cheeks.
When his vision started to turn blurry, it made him realize he was actually too scared to start crying, quite helplessly. But upon watching those pearl-like tears dripping down his chin, Zenith stopped shrieking at him and continued gazing with immense concern in his red eyes.
"I am sorry..." Without showing any opposition, Kylian accepted his mistake in the first place, while making Zenith flinch as he had fairly assumed him to keep arguing with him like before.
But adding to his surprise, Kylian sincerely expressed his heartfelt words rather than trying to bury all those feelings inside him, "I know it was a pathetic attempt that I did, and I know I must have looked like a fool to you.
"But...I have lived my whole life like this. I know it must sound ridiculous to you...but this is the only choice I had." His voice shivered and grew heavy, as if Kylian was swallowing his tears while trying to convey his emotions to him, leaving Zenith to gaze intensely into him.
"Competing and mimicking the Alphas’ techniques, because I didn’t have the money to go to a proper training academy, and trying endlessly every day to get stronger like them just so that I could also transition into a strong Alpha myself, I have spent my entire life doing things like this...and that’s why, I had this thought in my mind that if I try to awaken my ability, even if it means by putting myself in danger, maybe I could be able to fly like you too.

Acting fidgety, Kylian muttered with a clumsy glum smile, "I don’t know from where are these tears coming off...I am too ashamed of my actions already, and I don’t want to put myself in further shame anymore—"
