Chapter 78: A Deadly Mistake
"Huh?" Startled by his question, Zenith contemplated for a brief moment before he gave a small nod, "As far I know, the majority of the ancestral wolves awakened inside their Alphas or Omegas are supposed to awaken their gifted abilities sooner or later. So, it might be possible that you possess too?"
~ "Don’t ask me anything regarding this. I am still not triggered by anything that could awaken such a gifted ability. And whatever the Alpha said, it’s true. It is truly a rare ability only the chosen ones can use, and he does possess such a rare ability of flying as well. That’s remarkable."
Morpheus’s answer winced Kylian a little as he was indeed thinking of confirming it with him once, but his blatant response made him lose hope. Even though he was amazed by Zenith’s power, the scared feeling surrounding him had started to fade away as if he was feeling reassured by his tight hold around him.
But given his competitive and tough resilience, Kylian didn’t want to lose face easily before a special Alpha like Zenith, as he deliberately mind-linked with his wolf, "But shouldn’t you at least have any hunch what kind of gifted ability you do possess, Morpheus? You’re also an ancestral wolf, right? And you had mentioned before that you are kind of special from other dominant omegas..."
~ "If you have heard that Alpha properly, he did mention not every ancestral wolf is supposed to possess the gifted powers. Till now, I haven’t experienced something triggering enough that activate such a divine power. So, don’t hold your hopes very high, Kylian."
"Okay, why don’t we try and see if we can activate the power in an emergency situation?"

Suddenly, an idea struck Kylian’s head when he excitedly mentioned it to Morpheus first. A quick smile curved his lips when Kylia glanced down finally at the small terrace built on the tallest bell tower building of the Academy.
The top of that building was over 200 feet high and pointing his finger to that terrace, Kylian urged him, "Zenith, could you just land over that terrace for a moment, please?"
