Chapter 61: One Day He Finds Someone
"Ma’am, I must say, you’re quite talented when it comes to lying to your son."
Marita flinched from the sudden hoarse manly voice behind her. She jolted up from her seat and when she turned around, she saw two giant muscular men decked up in black suits with arrogant smug on their faces had walked inside her restaurant, using the back door.
They belonged to the criminal organization from where she had obtained the quick loan of two million dollars for paying the Academy fees, only on the condition that she would sell off one of her kidneys as well as a certain part of her spleen. Marita had always faced trouble with her frail health, and now this big surgery might turn fatal to her health, despite knowing the harsh truth she had no choice but to refuse.
"W-Why did you come inside here? Didn’t you see the sign outside? The restaurant is closed today!" She shrieked at one of those burly men out of nervousness, making them snort at her.
"Do you think such a measly sign would stop us from checking up on our client? Of course, we had to come and check whether you have signed the form or now backing off our deal since you have got the money already. Be thankful that we didn’t break your back door and only picked the lock to get in." One among those men lit out a cigarette while scowling at her, making Marita flinch from his growl.
While battling her inner distress, Marita wiped her tears and signed the paper before tossing it towards them. "I had already told you that I won’t back off no matter what it takes, so take your form and leave my restaurant, now."
Soon within a few minutes, Granny Elma rushed in through the backdoor as if she had noticed those scary gangsters entering inside the restaurant.
The bald, middle-aged one among those guys picked up the paper and carefully checked all the points before grunting back with a cold sneer, "Fine, then don’t forget to visit the hospital by the dawn. We will take out whatever organs we need and after that, we would just have to add the debt of the remaining sum of 4 million dollars on you."
"W-What?" Marita’s face turned pale from shock and aghast as she rolled her orbs furiously, "W-What debt? I am already giving you my organs! I could die from the surgery while doing so, but still, I didn’t turn back from the deal! Then why would you add such a huge debt on me??"
"Ugh, these fuckin’ omega bitches are too bothersome to deal with." The bald guy scoffed at her growl, before he gnawed at Marita, "Do you think money falls from the sky, huh? We provided you a loan for your fuckin’ son’s admission fee, and for the principal amount, we will take your organs. But what about the interest, huh? Who the fuck would pay that for you, bitch?"
"No...this is horrible! You can’t do that to her!" Granny Elma was already aware of the cruel trap Marita had tied herself to, but as a last resort, she rushed close to her and grumbled angrily at those gangsters, "Harassing an innocent woman like her would never do you any good! You can’t impose such a crazy sum on her when she’s willing to bet her life on this damn deal!"
