Chapter 407: Getting The Doctor
"What if..." Ezekiel drawled, looking carefully at Xavier.
"What if Father and Xander plotted to have Anastasia taken away from me?" Xavier completed.
Mr. Wallace had never openly accepted Anastasia as his daughter-in-law, and Xavier never gave any thought about it, as long as no harm came to Anastasia.
’That must have been his plan, to act like everything was okay while he plotted his schemes undercover with Xander,’ Xavier thought. His blood boiled at the thought that Anastasia got in between everything that had been going on.
She was merely a pawn to them so they could get to him even when she had no clue about what was happening. They couldn’t come directly to him, so they took away the one person he cherished the most, and that was Anastasia.
"If that was the case, Xander is being misled in the wrong direction by Mr. Wallace. He’s brainwashing him," Tracie said after she overcame her shock.
Although what she said was the truth, Xavier still felt anger towards Xander.
"I’ve already asked Jennifer to assist me with searching for Anastasia," Xavier said and Tracie instantly stiffened. He still had no idea Jennifer was Anastasia.
"And what did she say?" She asked.
Ezekiel noticed the change in her tone and stared at her with a questionable look. Meanwhile, Xavier was too deep in thought with anger to catch notice of it.
