Chapter 369: The Meeting
The next day,
Anastasia was standing in front of her closet, ready to get dressed to go meet with Xander and Samantha to continue their conversation from the previous night.
Anastasia looked into her closet, finding it full.
Julian had not only given her accommodation but a car, a credit card, and a closet filled with clothes too. She couldn’t help but feel slightly uncomfortable with how she was being treated by him. She was tempted to contact her secretary back at her company, Leo, explain things to him, and have him wire some money into her new bank account so some things can be settled—at least financially.
It wasn’t a difficult task but the chances of him contacting Xavier afterwards were high.
"If he’s loyal to me, then he should obey me," she thought to herself with a finger tapping on her chin. "I’ll think about that later."
She quickly picked out her outfit which was a simple white blouse with denim blue jeans, and heavy makeup to conceal her scars before she stepped out of the room.
Julian wasn’t around to take her to their location because he’d left earlier to handle a few matters, which meant she would be heading there all alone.
Anastasia squeezed her eyes shut as she braced herself for what was to come.
