Chapter 351: Is She Dead?
Both Maxwell and Ezekiel looked closely at Xavier’s monitor and noticed the little carving at the top of the coffin the corpse the woman was placed into. It was little but still noticeable.
Without wasting a single moment, Xavier forwarded the image to the other monitors in the room so they could all have a much better look.
"It is an odd carving," Ezekiel commented, his eyes narrowing at the carving. "Xander seemed to have forgotten to edit this one out," he added, fetching his phone and messaging a few people.
"He simply thinks he can just upload some lookalike to Anastasia and expect me to believe she is dead," said Xavier.
Everyone got back to work and it didn’t take long before the coffin maker was found.
"It says here that he’s in Radiantia," Maxwell informed, typing away on his keyboard.
Xavier was a little shocked but chose not to dwell on it. If the coffin maker was in Radiantia, did that mean Anastasia was there too? The thought unsettled him. Could she really have been right under his nose this whole time while he scoured the world searching for her? No, that didn’t make sense. Xander wouldn’t be reckless enough to keep her somewhere so easily accessible.
"You go home and rest while we search for the coffin maker," Ezekiel insisted, ready to leave to head to his own to work on Anastasia’s disappearance and some personal issues.
"I’ll take care of things here," Maxwell added.
