Chapter 349: Everything Is Over?
Mr. Wallace was at the Wallace mansion when he suddenly got a phone call. He checked his phone to see who was calling him, and as soon as his eyes landed on the caller that was named Ice which was a name he used in saving Bruce’s name so if the latter called and he wasn’t with his phone at that time, no one would suspect a thing.
His mother, Old Wallace was sitting right by his side while Richard was sitting opposite him, watching the foul played completely scripted wrestling show that made Old Wallace hiss once in a while.
He casually excused himself as he left for the backyard garden where no one would hear his conversation with Bruce.
He glanced left and right a few times before he finally picked up the call.
"What’s it?" he snapped, his voice low but laced with irritation. He couldn’t recall giving Bruce any reason to call him, especially now, when he was still within the walls of the Wallace mansion. It was far too dangerous. If anyone from his family overheard or caught wind of the conversation, everything he’d carefully planned over the years would crumble.
"Why do you sound like you were annoyed by someone?" Bruce asked from the other side, knowing fully well he was the cause of how Mr. Wallace was responding.
"Why are you calling me, knowing fully well I’m at home?" He questioned.
"I just called to feed you some very important information."
"What?!"
