Chapter 264: No Patience!!
"What?" Anastasia asked, staring at the girl in confusion.
Elizabeth frowned. "So what Angelina said was true. You have lost your memories," she said.
"So you knew who I was?" Anastasia asked, mirroring the girl’s expression.
"Of course! You’re married to Xavier Wallace, one of the richest and most powerful men in Radiantia. Xander is his twin brother," Elizabeth explained.
"Then he must be the father of my child," Anastasia mumbled under her breath, her mind drifting away.
Anastasia opened her mouth to ask Elizabeth more questions, but the familiar clicking sound of Samantha’s heels echoed closer, nearing the door. Panic flashed between them, and they quickly shifted their positions, pretending as if nothing suspicious had been happening.
"What were you talking about?" Samantha questioned as soon as she stepped foot inside, glaring at them. "Don’t you dare lie to me. I heard the sound of murmur when I was coming."
"Please don’t be offended, Ms. Samantha. I was only telling Anastasia to not offend you next time if she doesn’t want what happened today to repeat itself," Elizabeth said meekly, her head lowered and unable to make eye contact with Samantha.
A smirk pulled on Samantha’s face when she heard Elizabeth.
