"And how would you know? You’re an icon who’s loved by everyone..." Anastasia’s mouth twitched. "You wouldn’t understand the situation I’m in."
"Believe me, I completely understand the situation you’re in," Anastasia said, her tone soft as she tried to console the young actress. "I’ve been there a few times myself. Don’t mind what Director Jeunes was saying; he was just exaggerating." Anastasia repeated then giggled lightly at the end of her words, hoping to ease the girl’s worries and lighten the mood.
She waited patiently until the cubicle door swung open, and Diana, a girl who appeared to be in her teenage years, stepped out. Her hair, the rich color of caramel chocolate, cascaded down her shoulders.
What stood out even more were her rare gray eyes, which contrasted beautifully with her delicate facial structure, giving her an air of quiet elegance.
"You shouldn’t think too much about it," Anastasia continued.
"That’s quite easy for you to say. You have Mr. Xavier Wallace by your side, that’s probably why you didn’t face too much struggle when you debuted," Diana said, wiping tears from her eyes.
Anastasia became quite speechless.
"You follow baseless rumors I see..." Anastasia trailed off with a long sigh, biting the corners of her lips. "You shouldn’t listen to such rumors since they have nothing to prove."
Outside the bathroom, Viviana was eavesdropping on their conversation, her eyes squinted as she silently hoped for something that would favor her to happen already.
"It was uploaded on the internet. Mr. Wallace was the reason you got your first movie role. Because you...because you..." She stuttered, trying to complete her words but couldn’t find the courage to since Ana stared at her with a blank expression she couldn’t fathom what the latter was thinking.
"And do you believe all those rumors?" Anastasia asked.
