Chapter 226: Suing!!
Jack couldn’t believe his ears. He’d been beaten up badly when he wasn’t able to pay up the other time. Seeing that they came with baseball bats only meant they came for business and only God knows how long they will have to beat him for before they let him go.
Jack glanced around but didn’t see many people passing around. It was extremely late in the dark and he couldn’t help but wonder how they got to find him.
’Have they been stalking me?’ He couldn’t help but wonder.
"Aren’t you the one I’m talking to?" Titans roared, swinging the bat around, unable to wait to make Jack kiss it. "Tell me you have my money boi," he finished, roared so loudly that Jack had to take a few steps back.
"Titanus, I don’t have your money tonight. You know what? Give me two more days, I promise I will get you your money, I beg of you," Jack pleaded, taking more steps backward.
Titanus glanced at his men, already figuring out what Jack was intending to do.
All of a sudden, they burst out in laughter as if they’d just heard the greatest joke of all time.
"Can you hear what this bastard is saying to me? He wants two more days before he can pay us," Titanus mocked as they continued to cackle like hyenas after they made a prey succumb to them.
"I really can’t give you the money today, Titanus! I don’t have anything on me right now. I promise, two days. Give me two more days and I’ll have the money. You don’t even need to come meet me for it. I will personally come to you to give it back, with interest of course," Jack continued to plead, despite knowing his pleading was going to deaf ears.
