Chapter 204: I Will Slit Your Throat
"For once, I thought you might use your brain," Xavier said with a sneer. "But I forgot—you’ve got nothing up there." He strode toward Richard with calm precision before landing one final punch to his jaw, sending him completely unconscious. Xavier stood over him, his eyes cold, as the room settled into an eerie silence.
Everything had happened so fast. Tracie had wanted to hit Richard, but Xavier came out of nowhere and delivered the last punch.
Jeffrey immediately called for his men and had them take Richard out of the room.
Mr and Mrs Wallace couldn’t scold Xavier for what he’d done. Although they didn’t witness the whole thing, they’d seen enough to know that Richard had gone too far with his lousy mouth.
Mrs. Wallace sighed, remembering she’d warned Richard not to cause a scene at the Clark mansion, but once he arrived at the mansion, he didn’t waste a single second and blurted out a stupid statement, knowing Xavier could beat him up anytime without caring if he was his brother.
Xavier checked up on Anastasia, and when she told him Richard had hit her in the stomach, he gritted his teeth in anger, immediately regretting not giving him a better beating before he passed out.
"Anastasia," Mrs. Wallace called as she walked towards her. Placing her hand on Anastasia’s, she continued. "I’m deeply sorry for the scene Richard has cursed today. Please forgive us."
"It’s okay, mother. I just hope one day he will be able to think clearly," Anastasia responded.
Anastasia didn’t have anything against her in-laws. The only problem she had was Richard, and the man had clearly proven he would always have a problem with her. And no matter their location, he would always try to humiliate her and belittle her with every chance he got.
He still doesn’t want to digest the fact that Anastasia had grown stronger and she wanted nothing to do with him anymore.
"I think it’s time for you to head home Mother," Xavier said, his tone irritated and everyone knew why. "Father..." Xavier called and the middle-aged man nodded in understanding.
