The building is an apartment complex, with a total of four elevators divided into two entrances. Li Yifei and Xie Yuanshan rushed in, each running into one entrance. Li Yifei glanced at the elevator and saw no one going up or down. The same was true for Xie Yuanshan on his side. He called security to guard the two exits to prevent anyone from escaping down the stairs.

Li Yifei ran to the edge of the building and looked down to see the person had opened a paraglider and had flown hundreds of meters away. Li Yifei raised his gun, fired a few shots, and then put down the pistol, only able to watch as the person flew away. Today is strange; the wind speed is high, or else the paraglider wouldn’t have gone far from the twentieth floor. But with the wind’s help, the person not only didn’t land but also flew higher.

Xie Yuanshan was still contacting the security below to have them pursue, but Li Yifei shook his head, preventing the futile action. Standing on the rooftop, Li Yifei squinted at the increasingly distant paraglider.
Two minutes later, the paraglider disappeared into the horizon, probably having flown thousands of meters away. Li Yifei then turned and went downstairs, with Xie Yuanshan following, feeling utterly useless, thinking he hadn’t helped Li Yifei at all.
