Chapter 1452 - 1455 Auntie, Are You Serious_1
"Yangyang, what are you doing?" Yang Xiayun and Luo Linyu were sent by Ms. Wang to keep the new bride company and pass the time with conversation.
Upon hearing this, Yangyang turned back with a smile, "Auntie, I want to see if my big uncle’s wife is pretty, but the door is closed, and I can’t see."
"Then why don’t you go in? You would be able to see her," said Yang Xiayun.
Yangyang seemed a bit troubled and said, "But auntie, Mom said that teasing the bridal chamber should only happen at night, and it’s not evening yet."
"We can still go in and talk to the big uncle’s wife before nightfall. Do you want to go with your auntie?" Yang Xiayun asked him.
"I’d better not. I’ll go in the evening instead, if I go now, it won’t feel as fresh when the evening comes." Saying this, the little guy stepped back from the door and said, "Auntie, I’m going to leave with them first, please say hello to the big uncle’s wife for me."
Having said this, he led Yang Qingkang, Yang Jindi, and others away, his demeanor suggesting he was quite the leader among the kids.
"Sister-in-law, it’s Xia Yun!" Yang Xiayun knocked on the door and then pushed it open to enter.
Ms. Zhang recognized Yang Xiayun and Luo Linyu, and seeing them made her feel a bit more at ease in the unfamiliar environment.
"Was that Yangyang speaking just now?" Ms. Zhang had met Yangyang on her last visit to the Yang Family and had a deep impression of the little scrapper.
"That’s him!" Luo Linyu said with a laugh, "We told him to come in, but he insists on waiting until tonight."
"He’s very cute!"
Yang Xiayun chuckled, "A little imp."
The sisters-in-law gradually started chatting, moving from the topic of Yangyang to a broader conversation. Yang Xiayun found that her new sister-in-law was quite straightforward and not at all reserved, no wonder her older brother liked her.
After a while, Yang Chuxia came in, leading Yangyang with her.
When Yang Xiayun saw him, she immediately laughed, "Didn’t you want to wait until tonight to come? Why are you here now?"
Yangyang giggled and said, "I came with Mom."
"Aren’t you going to greet your big uncle’s wife?" Yang Chuxia patted his little head.
Yangyang immediately stepped forward and bowed, "Big uncle’s wife, my name is Ye Haoyang, we’ve met before!" He said while blinking his eyes, winning Ms. Zhang over with his antics instantly.
"You have quite the memory, still remembering me, huh?" Ms. Zhang laughed and pulled out a purse from her sleeve to give to him.
"Wow, I get a red envelope just for calling out? If I call out a few more times, can I get more?" He asked while looking seriously at Ms. Zhang.
Ms. Zhang was caught off guard by his response and laughed, "How many times do you plan to call me? I must tell you, I don’t have many red envelopes on me." She then took out all the red envelopes and said, "Count how many there are. You need to call out that many times, but don’t overdo it, or else I might run out of red envelopes for you."
"Wow, Auntie, are you serious?" The little guy exclaimed in surprise, "With so many red envelopes, wouldn’t I go hoarse? You better keep them for the other kids. I was just joking with you, I’m grown-up now, one is enough for me."
"Pfft, are you sure you are not a child?" Ms. Zhang was entertained by him once again.
Seeing Yang Chuxia smiling amiably at her, and knowing from Yangyang’s earlier call that this was Yang Qingrui’s older sister, Ms. Zhang remembered the formidable reputation she had heard about in town. Now that she saw her, Yang Chuxia didn’t seem as sharp as she had imagined.
She couldn’t understand how someone who looked so gentle could be like the person from the stories.
"Sister-in-law, you’re staring at me like that, Qingrui would get jealous."
"Big sister!"
