Chapter 1340 - 1342: I Got Dragged into a Pit by Him Again_1
Upon hearing the words, Yangyang was stunned for a moment before turning his head and plunging into Ye Zi’an’s arms, shouting, "Handsome Dad, I’ve been led into a trap again."
"Haha..." Ye Zi’an simply couldn’t help but laugh.
"Handsome Dad, how can you laugh at me?"
By then, the carriage had already stopped.
Someone outside said, "Mom, listen, there’s Yangyang showing off again."
As soon as the Yangyang inside the carriage heard that voice, which sounded incredibly familiar, he lifted the curtain and there was Yang Qingtong.
Suddenly, he shouted, "Uncle Qingtong!"
"Yangyang!"
Yang Qingtong was prepared to pick him up, but he waved his hand, "Uncle, this height is nothing." With that, he jumped down.
His big eyes scanning around, he trotted over to Ms. Wang, "Granny!"
"Oh, my good child, you still remember your granny?" Ms. Wang busied herself bending down to hug him and kissed him several times.
Only then did Little Yangyang exclaim, "You and mom look a bit alike."
As he spoke, Ye Zi’an also got down from the carriage, subsequently carrying Lele and Yang Chuxia down one by one.
Lele also ran over calling out for grandpa and grandma.
Ms. Wang and Yang Dachuan looked together at the whole family, whom they hadn’t seen in almost three years.
"Brother An, Xiaxia..." Ms. Wang took two steps forward, and upon seeing that Yang Chuxia was pregnant again, her eyes welled up with tears of joy.
"Dad! Mom!" Yang Chuxia also stepped forward and embraced Ms. Wang.
"Good, good, at last you’re home."
After the two separated, Ye Zi’an stepped forward, lifted his robe, and knelt on the ground, "Dad, Mom, I’m back!"
"Good boy, get up quickly!" Yang Dachuan also wiped the corners of his eyes, "It’s been years, and Brother An has changed so much."
He truly had changed, after serving as an official for a few years, the air of authority had accumulated around him.
"Dad, no matter how much I have changed, I am still your son-in-law, still your son."
"Right, right, right. You’re still dad’s good boy. Let’s go in the house. Tonight you and I won’t return until we’re drunk."
Once the family had gone inside, Yang Xiayun stepped forward to greet her parents, followed by Luo Linyu.
After everyone had greeted each other, Lele and Yangyang took each other’s hands and went to Yang Dachuan, "Grandpa, you can’t go back until you’re drunk without taking us along."
Yang Dachuan was taken aback, looking at the two little cuties in front of him, pink and tender, with red lips and white teeth, smiling happily. "Lele and Yangyang, it’s amazing how much you’ve grown. You were so small just the other day."
"It’s been several years; they ought to have grown this much," Ms. Wang said, joining in the conversation. She then turned to ask Yang Chuxia how many months along she was in her pregnancy and if the baby was well.
"Mom, I’m doing very well, all is well," Yang Chuxia said with a smile. She hadn’t seen Ms. Wang in years, and she seemed just the same as before, without any subtle changes. It seemed that life at home must have been good, leaving nothing to worry about.
"That’s good!" Ms. Wang patted her hand and then looked at the two children talking with Yang Dachuan, "These children have grown up so well. Lele really does look like Brother An when he was little."
She went to look at Yangyang, only to find that the boy was listening to Ye Zi’an and Yang Dachuan with one ear, while making faces at Yang Qingtong with the other.
He amused Yang Qingtong to the point of laughter.
"By the way, Mom, where is the younger brother? I haven’t seen Yang Qingrui," Yang Chuxia inquired, realizing she hadn’t seen him just then.
Upon hearing the question, Yang Qingtong explained, "Sister, big brother went to the town. He was invited to a close classmate’s birthday in town and the relationship is such that he couldn’t refuse. However, he did say that he would be back for dinner tonight."
"Ah, big brother really... I, his own sister, come home, and he’s not even here. Is his classmate more important than me?" Yang Xiayun feigned a complaint.
