Chapter 247 - 247: Taking Back Control
Li Chengxing originally only wanted to scare Ye Qing, but to his surprise, Zhao Chengshuang started making a fuss first. Although Li Chengxing had a fiery temper, he didn't dare to make an enemy of Zhao Chengshuang. After all, the Zhao Family's background was too powerful.
"Zhao Chengshuang, this has nothing to do with you. You'd better not get involved!" Li Chengxing threatened in a deep voice.
"Hey, I just like poking my nose into other's business, and I'm going to meddle in this!" Zhao Chengshuang slapped his wheelchair and said, "Come on then, you want to kill us, don't you? Try and kill me first, just try!"
Li Chengxing furrowed his brows, feeling somewhat embarrassed. If Zhao Chengshuang insisted on protecting Ye Qing, tonight was going to be difficult indeed.
To tell the truth, he didn't take Ye Qing and Li Lianshan seriously, because he wasn't afraid of their backgrounds. However, he couldn't help but be wary of Zhao Chengshuang's family. He wanted to have his men drag Zhao Chengshuang away, but by doing that, he would also offend Zhao Chengshuang.
As he hesitated about what to do, suddenly, a man from the crowd behind him charged forward and kicked Zhao Chengshuang's wheelchair, cursing, "Bastard, you dare threaten my big brother!"
No one expected someone to strike out of the blue, and Zhao Chengshuang's wheelchair surged forward; he was thrown off balance. It was Ye Qing, with quick reflexes, who steadied him, fortunately preventing him from crashing to the ground.
With that, Li Lianshan was instantly enraged, turning around and cursing, "Who the hell gave you the right to speak here, don't you know your place?"
Li Lianshan reached out to grab the man, but several others promptly blocked him, and one of them kicked Li Lianshan in the leg, while two others held him back, starting to beat him.
Seeing this, Black Bear immediately ran over, grabbed the waistbands of the two men, and with one hand each, hurled them against the wall behind. Then, he grabbed the man hitting Li Lianshan, punched him in the face, and the man immediately crouched down, covering his face.
With that, the scene immediately turned chaotic, with a group of people shouting and rushing forward, the place becoming a complete mess.
Li Chengxing didn't expect the situation to spiral out of control so suddenly. Seeing his own men at a disadvantage, he grew furious, bellowing, "Beat them to death for me!"
After saying that, he quietly ordered someone next to him, "Drag Zhao Chengshuang away, don't let him get hurt!"
The men immediately went for Zhao Chengshuang, while the group behind, upon Li Chengxing's command, charged forward with even louder shouts, rushing at Black Bear in waves.
Black Bear stood in the corridor like a towering iron pagoda, anyone who approached him couldn't withstand a second blow; all were laid low by him. Although he was hit several times with a steel rod, he seemed unbothered, and his attacks grew even more dominant.
On the other hand, Ye Qing intended to help Black Bear but saw a few people charging towards Zhao Chengshuang.
Ye Qing would not let Zhao Chengshuang suffer any disadvantage and immediately ran over, kicking the chest of the man at the forefront.
Li Chengxing's insults toward Li Lianshan had already angered Ye Qing. Furthermore, with so many opponents, Ye Qing spared no mercy in his attack. With that kick, he sent the man flying several meters away, toppling two people over onto the ground.
"Damn!" Li Chengxing's eyes widened. He knew Ye Qing could fight, but he hadn't expected him to be this formidable.
Just then, Ye Qing also charged into the group, swiftly bringing all of them down to the ground. Li Chengxing's men were his personal bodyguards and considered very strong. However, in front of Ye Qing, they were no different than children. At this point, Li Chengxing finally understood why Ye Qing dared to challenge him here—because he truly had the strength to do so!
Meanwhile, Black Bear was handling the three to four dozen attackers with ease. The corridor allowed only three people to rush at him at once, and they found it hard to maneuver. Black Bear was now an insurmountable one-man defense, with two cuts from machetes on his body, yet, seven to eight men lay on the ground before him, screaming and struggling to get up.
Li Lianshan stood by, and although it wasn't his first time seeing Black Bear in action, the display of such ferocious fighting power left him astonished. With such formidable individuals, if they truly wanted to carve out a domain in Shenchuan City, they would be unstoppable!
Seeing that the situation was going against him, Li Chengxing hastily retreated, running back and shouting, "Retreat, get out of here, don't fight in the corridor—it's a disadvantage!"
Li Chengxing's men were also scared off by Black Bear. Hearing his words, they turned and retreated, trying to draw Black Bear into the main hall.
"Xiong Zi, take care of Chengshuang and Old Li!" Ye Qing instructed as he strode forward, chasing after Li Chengxing.

Ye Qing reached out and grabbed Li Chengxing's wrist, snatching the dagger from his hand. He pressed Li Chengxing's head against the wall with one hand and gripped the dagger tightly with the other, stabbing towards Li Chengxing's head.
Li Chengxing let out a terrified scream and closed his eyes instinctively. However, after waiting for a while, the expected pain didn't come. He cautiously opened his eyes only to see the cold light of the dagger embedded in the wall, less than five centimeters from his face. A little closer, and it would have pierced his head!
Li Chengxing was so scared that his whole body went limp. He looked at Ye Qing in front of him and tried to sound tough through gritted teeth, but his voice still trembled, "If you have the guts... just kill me, Fu Bang... Fu Bang will definitely not let you off..."
"I'm waiting for them!" Ye Qing pulled out the dagger and looked at Li Chengxing with cold eyes, saying, "Now, you can get lost!"
