Chapter 14: The Appearance of Queen Medusa
"Boss..."
Seeing their leader instantly slain, the mercenaries surrounding Die fell into chaos. As their eyes swept the scene, they quickly discovered the cause of his death.
Swallowing nervously, they instinctively looked up toward the sky and cried out in shock, "Q-Queen Medusa!"
A vast and boundless desert fell into silence, as if the very air had frozen. Everyone felt a dizzying sensation wash over them.
The Queen of the Snake-People, Medusa, had emerged from the depths of the desert.
High in the sky, under the moonlight, a graceful figure stood suspended in the air.
She was a breathtakingly beautiful woman, wearing a crown atop her head and a flowing crimson robe. Her curvaceous body, as alluring as a ripe peach, radiated an intoxicating charm. Long, jet-black hair cascaded down her fragrant shoulders, reaching her slender waist.
Beneath her robe, a section of her violet snake tail was visible.
She stood there in midair, a pair of crimson Dou Qi wings fluttering behind her. In her hands, a longbow made of condensed Dou Qi slowly dissipated.
"Your Majesty!"
As Queen Medusa appeared, a large group of Snake-People emerged from the sand dunes behind. Leading them was Mo Ba Si, one of the Eight Chiefs.
