"Oh?" he muttered, tilting his head slightly. "They seem confident, despite losing the first set."
Hikaru, arms crossed, watched intently.
"Well," he said quietly, "let's hope that their confidence leads them to victory."
As the two exchanged words, the referee blew the whistle sharply – signalling the start of the second set.
