Chapter 13 Borrowing Money
Class 2, Senior Year Science.
Homeroom teacher Yang Ting stood on the podium, her gaze sweeping across the classroom. "There are only two weeks left until the monthly exam. Everyone must work hard during this time."
"Ring—" The bell rang for the end of school.
Yang Ting waved her hand gently. "Class dismissed. Be careful on your way home."
"Goodbye, teacher."
The students packed up their heavy review materials, exhaustion showing on their faces.
Ye Fan stared blankly at his empty schoolbag.
Before coming to Zhenhua High School, he had never bought any review materials, not even once.
Seeing the mountains of test papers, exercises, and workbooks in front of everyone made him feel like he was in the wrong place, out of place.
"Ye Fan, what are you spacing out for?"
Luo Yumeng slung her backpack over her shoulder and turned around to see Ye Fan in a daze. "School's over, why aren't you leaving?"
